Duvall Citizen of the Year

Do you know what last night was? It was a very special night for me. The citizen of the year, for Duvall, was elected. Paige Denison was a nominee, for all she does in the community to help others. She works at the senior center, the church, the civic club, the library and even our classroom. There were 11 other contestants.
It was a special night. I was at the dinner, there was catering that had the best salmon ever. There was squash, and potatoes and a big salad with honey mustard dressing and raisins. It was fun and I had some chamomile tea. During dinner they anounced the citizen of the year. My mom is Paige Denison and she won the citizen of the year award. I felt proudthat she won!
