Today Andy's mom came in to talk about Cambodian New Year. Cambodain New Year is April 14to16. Andy's family went to Cambodia and adoped Rachel Andy's sister. In Cambodia everybodys birthday is on Cambodian New Year and also in Cambodia there are lots of land mines in Cambodia because in the Vietnam War the Vietnam were planting land mines and the Americans were too and there is still land mines there today so if you go be careful. The day 1 the day of the New Year like I said today is evrybody birthday. Day 2, Vana bat is the day when lots of people like to pray. Day 3 is when people wash the statues and dress them like Monks. They treat the statues like humans.
