Today was day 180 of our school year. It was officially the end of the year for us. The school year that is..... We celebrated together and had a "pigout" party. Everyone brought in a sharing snack, and we signed t-shirts. Then, we all spent some time discussing what was the best part of our year together. Was it the challenging curriculum, we thought not, although we must admit the Science Fair was AWESOME. Was it the wealth of technology we have in our room? Nope, that wasn't it either, but we did really enjoy using our computers, ELMO, scanners and digital cameras as a tool in our learning/teaching. (And having a class BLOG was quite special we agreed) But, without a doubt, we all agreed it was the wonderful FRIENDSHIPS we had developed. Coming together from across the district this "stellar" group of students had grown to know, love, and care a lot about one another. We are all looking forward to summer fun, but we will always remember and cherish the good times we had together as PAT STARS!!!!
