Horses

Hi, My name is Rachel and I have been interested in horses for over a year. I might even get lessons. I have been learning about them and here are a few facts I have learned.
Usually horses are born at night.
Horses can see when they are born.
They can stand one hour of being born.
They can keep up with the herd 24 hours of being born.
A Morgan is a true American horse.
Pinto's are a Indian horse horses have blue eyes.
You would find a snip on a horses muzzle.
Completely moving a mane is called hogging.
The two piebald horses are the black and white horses.
A tail that is cut straight from the bottom is called banged. You use a dandy brush too remove mud and dirt.
You need a New Zealand rug in the winter to keep the horse warm. You need 1 acre for a horse to graze.
A marking that covers most of the horses face is called bald.
A three year old male is called a colt.
These are a few horse facts. I hope you enjoyed reading them.
