That’s now not true! I got a tootsie pop on 6/10/09 and Ms. T told us to count how many licks it took to get to the center of the tootsie pop. We didn’t have to(She was just kidding), but I did. I kept on licking my tootsie pop. Finally, I got the number: 1,430 licks. So it takes about 1,430 licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop, but I didn’t stop there. I kept on licking until the entire tootsie pop was gone. You’ll be surprised about this: It takes about 1,985 licks to eat a tootsie pop. Wow! Please note: I took small licks!

I tried counting that too but it weirdly made the tootsie pop taste worse and after I stopped it tasted better. I stopped at 50 licks. I also like your quote "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? The world now knows."

ReplyDeleteAmazingly when I had licked my tootsie pop it had sharp rigdes and it cut me! Anyway did you really lick 1,958 licks?

But I suppose there are various answers because people lick their tootsie pops differently. But otherwise you did an excellent job! I liked that you put Ms.T was just joking. 1,985 licks is a HUGE number!
