In out class we have been playing BINGO; we played two different types of bingo: Multiplication bingo, and Amazing American Bingo. In multiplication bingo you fill your card with answers to multiplication problems. Players call out a fact and if you have the answer to that fact on your paper you put a bingo chip on. When we play Amazing American bingo you have a list of people who made a difference in our country. Each student has a person who they did an oral report on, that person, say it was me, will call out something like this: "I was a Native American princess who was married to John Rolfe, had a son named Thomas, and help make peace...." I would say for Pocahontas. Everyone has the same list of people and wherever you put that person on you bingo card you put a chip on that square. There were fifty Amazing Americans in the book set so we did this twice, each time the same way. When we play bingo sometimes we do four corners, postage stamp, and other different ways to play bingo. Your not aways lucky either. When we used to play multiplication bingo, my friend, Kelsey was always lucky. In Amazing American bingo it's pretty mixed up. I won twice. Once in Multiplication bingo, I got a ring from the Treasure Chest, and once Amazing American bingo, I got pink toy fish that I named Bingo for obvious reasons. When you get a bingo, you shout "BINGO!" you call out the names or numbers under you counters making a BINGO. If you are right, you go to the Treasure Chest (courtesy of Trenton) It's filled with all sorts of things! Playing BINGO in this class has been fun.
