Guess what today was? I'll give you a clue, he wrote OH THE PLACES YOU'LL GO! If you guessed Dr. Seuss's birthday, you're right! (It was also opposite day, but that's not what I'm supposed to be telling you.)
"Oh the Places You'll Go, by Dr. Seuss" Heather Turchin said over the phone. She's my teacher's daughter. On the 2nd of March, it was Dr. Seuss's B-day! But we weren't in school then, so we're celebrating it now, Mar.4, 05. My teacher's favorite story that Dr. Seuss made is Oh the places You'll Go. So, she had her daughter read the book over the speaker phone, while Ms. T showed us the pictures with the book she has. Heather went on reading the book, and when she was done, we said thank you. Once we hung up the phone (and Heather did to), Ms T asked everyone what the book was telling you. I said "It says that you should be happy, and some moments will be better than others will be, and that you can make good choices or bad choices. No one chooses what you do, you decide."
Have you ever read this story by Dr. Seuss? Well, if you haven't there is a very important lesson in it. That is, that you won't always win, but you won't always loose, in other words, do your personal best! You'll have bad days and you'll have good days. You have brains in your head and feet in your shoes, no one chooses where you go or what you do. If you have ever been in the waithing place, than you probably made the wrong choice. For the waiting place is when you are waiting to get something done, like doing your homework for example. So, you'd better get moving!
Well, I think you have a pretty good idea what the book is about. If you want to find out the rest of the book, you should read it!!!!!!!
