The Food Drive

Have you ever been in a food drive? I have. The food drive started last Wednesday and ended yesterday. Mrs.Penseko's class challeged our class to see which class got the most items. We kept bringing stuff and so did Ms.Pensko's class. On the last day of the food drive our class brought in lots of stuff, I brought in 144 (On the last day) items. I was the winner of the boys in our class. I was also the winner of all the kids. Our class won!! Our class brought in 757 items!
But the real winners were the people at the food bank.
I felt really proud of myself that I used almost all of my money to buy those food items. I did it because I wanted other people to have food. I feel really good about giving all that food to other people.
