Healthy Habitats

Did you know that animals need food, water, shelter, and space? I did.
We had Sara come to our class room today for a program called Healthy Habits. She goes to schools and teaches them how to throw away... the right way. She taught us to reduce , reuse, recycle and rethink. She works at King County Solid Waste Division.
Animals need lots of food, water, shelter, and space in their habitats, and if we throw away paper, we have to cut down trees, which will wreck their habitats. But, if we recycle paper we don't have to cut down trees, which doesn't wreck their habitat.
We also became an Official Green Team! Are you a member of the Green Team?
