ATRT (All The Right Type)
Today I beat the game on All the Right Type! You have to beat 18 levels to beat it. It gets really addicting when you are really close to beating it. I wanted to stay in every recess to beat it. Lily I. made a badge for me that is shaped like a shark, and it says my name on it, and holds this little thing in its mouth that says “I am a Typershark!”It’s cute.
If you have read Nate Bergman’s blog than you will know more about ATRT and Typershark. When you beat the game sequence option turns off so you just have to do Practice Pavillion which makes you beat the game again, but you beat it faster. You also get a new goal, my new goal is 25 wpm (words per minute). Beating the game is so awesome. If you have not beat the game yet, I am sure you are going to love it!

Science
Hi, my name is Autumn B. and I am going to tell you about science in Ms. Turchin’s class.
Right now we are working on our butterfly unit. It took a while to get started because the caterpillars were shipped to a different building. At first they all started to die. Then mine turned into a pup, but since most of them were dead, we had to get another batch. They were shipped to the wrong building as well, so it took longer than we wanted it to take. Most of the class’s have turned into butterflies. There are 2 dead ones. I’ve been seeing eggs! I wonder when they will hatch. We are allowed to bring orange slices to school for the butterflies. There is red stuff in there butterfly house. Ms. T. told us it from there metamorphosis. At first I thought it was blood. Luckily, it’s not.
Last year we did a plant unit. I remember that mine grew 4 inches tall. Some of the leaves got brownish. I think Lily’s was something like 3 inches tall. I’m not quite sure. I think the butterfly unit is better than the plant one. Do all the third graders from last year agree with me?
I love science and I bet you will to.
